Part of a Daydream

New-ish Illustration in process.  I've finished most of the major line work here, having also established a solid design and custom lettering.  Might color this by hand or digitally, but I've yet to decide.

Also, having a puppy has slowed things down a bit, (chewed wires can be a real downer) so I may have to show him off to you guys a bit in the future.

Why Call it That …?

Let me introduce this blog. Process + Affect is for insights, ideas, design, art and anything else that I'm working on. This journal will hopefully provide some inspiration to designers, artists, the casual passer-by, and anyone else that happens upon it. The images can also serve as a guide to my process and daily inspirations in regard to the work that can be seen on my website, still soon to be published. >_< 

On another note, just to be clear (ha) I am aware that there happens to be another word, effect, with which part of my blog title resembles, but let me assure you that it isn't a typo…lol.

I'll start off with some simple rough sketches to get things going. I often begin illustration projects with
a mass of scattered doodles and colorful scribbles, working out details and style.
